Are you engaged in the United Nations Food Systems Summit and COP26?

GMA was founded early last year in response to COVID-19 and the need for levy boards and commercial businesses to equip themselves to make rapid change based on global insight. Since that time, we’ve been having a broader conversation around how the global sector can foster a more aligned, collaborative approach. Both to tackle some of the big issues challenging our industry but equally, to create a positive global narrative for our sector.

We’re now working on a more detailed piece of work, with Meat & Livestock Australia, around the upcoming United Nations Food Systems Summit, and others such as COP26, as the current stocktake of the situation is that the meat industry has little to no representation in this arena. What we’re embarking on initially, is a deeper dive analysis into what efforts are currently underway so we can engage where needed, share messaging and resource and connect like-minded organisations where it makes sense to do so.

As such, we’ve put together a quick survey which simply asks what you’re aware of happening in this space and your level of appetite to connect with others in a pre-competitive space.
