Activation Kit shared with global sector ahead of the UNFSS

The Global Meat Alliance (GMA) has been working closely with Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) on resources to equip the international sector ahead of the United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS). To date, we’ve ran a number of networking sessions on this topic, developed an UNFSS Overview Report, delivered a Global Independent Dialogue, produced an outcomes report and shared expert speaker content.

Today, GMA shared the UNFSS Activation Kit for the Global Meat & Livestock Sector.

Example content:

The Kit contains content (imagery and copy) for use across social media, collated under a number of pillars:

  • UNFSS Specific

  • Global collaboration

  • Nutrition

  • Environment

  • Food Security

  • Expert opinion videos

  • Wider community initiatives

We kept the following in mind when developing these resources:

  • We have aimed to generate positive sentiment which has been crafted with a pre-competitive perspective in mind. Whilst we know many of organisations are positioning messaging within a local context, we would urge you to build some of these collaborative messages into your strategy. The key to this work will be in the volume and reach of those sharing.

  • We have purposefully developed the content in keeping with the UNFSS language.

  • The content is free of any logos and is designed for organisations to place their own logos on, or make edits to this material – think of it as a template which organisations can add your own stamp on, or, use as is.

  • The material is designed to be shared with organisations networks and stakeholders as they wish.

The Kit can be accesses as an interactive PDF (which downloadable images) or via our Trello board.

Thank you once again to MLA for funding this activity, to those that have joined us to continue funding activity (we will formally announce next week) and to those individuals and organisations that have supported us through sharing materials, knowledge and advice. Too many to name but appreciate all of you.
