Spotlight on Bonn Climate Change Conference:
This month we looked at the UN Climate meetings held in Bonn, Germany, in which critical meetings will lay the groundwork ahead of COP29 in November. Significant agricultural recommendations were made to enhance climate resilience in the sector, and there was a strong focus on creating funding mechanisms that directly reach smallholder farmers and enhancing the role of women and young farmers in adaptation efforts. The COP29 presidency announced new details for participants planning on attending COP in Baku this November 11- 22, such as the confirmed location as Baku Stadium and other logistics including accommodation. Click here to watch the video shared and read more in the report.
World Butcher’s Challenge
Thinking even further ahead to 2025, the next World Butchers' Challenge (WBC) is set to be held in Paris spotlighting the finest butchery skills globally. Set in the impressive Hall 6 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the competition will feature 15 teams including newcomers Belgium, Romania and Spain – more details and dates to be confirmed in the following GMA reports.
