The Societal Role of Meat: Input into the Rhetoric and Dialogue
Reputation is a currency, and its importance is significant to no industry more so than the global meat sector.
To help address this, Global Meat Alliance has partnered with the World Butchers’ Challenge to conduct a premiere workshop this September with selected livestock leaders.
The Societal Role of Meat: Input into the Rhetoric and Dialogue will explore the most topical thematics surrounding the global meat sector.
The feedback and ideas generated through an evidence-based lens at this premiere workshop will be the first glimpse a globally influential set of position papers to be developed at an international meat summit in Dublin later this year.
These papers will be the ‘bible’ of meat, guiding public policy and decision-makers on the valuable role it plays in societal health and the environment.
At The Societal Role of Meat: Input into the Rhetoric and Dialogue in Sacramento, the global livestock and meat leaders, reputation and marketing experts, and more who are in attendance will address three key topics:
The Role of Meat in Diet and Health;
The Role of Meat in a Sustainable Environment, and
The Role of Meat in Society, Economics, and Culture
