World Iron Awareness Week

World Iron Awareness Week runs from 22-28 August, shining a light on those most at risk of iron deficiency, the implications of being short on iron, and which dietary choices will optimise iron levels.

World Iron Awareness Week in 2022 is here and to help our members spotlight the world’s most common nutritional deficiency and promote the role of meat in a healthy diet, Global Meat Alliance has developed a suite of media and digital assets.

Among these include:

  • Media releases

  • Talking points

  • Email pitch to media

  • Social media tiles

  • Social media videos (see example below)

  • Stakeholder engagement letters

  • And more…

You can download these tools via the:

Copy and paste them as they are, or take them as inspiration to use for you and your organisation.

We’d love to see how you utilise them - let us know!

GMA also teamed up with the team at Meat Business Women and Beef + Lamb NZ to produce the below video for the MBW network for how women in the meat and livestock industries can get more involved.
